Christmas Journal Page: 8

Today I have page 8 of my Christmas Journal.  It actually started out as a page, but then wound up being glued to the inside cover.  Originally I was going to punch holes in it and put it in the binder, but only the bottom part of the library pocket would line-up and I was concerned about the strain of only having one hole punched in it.  I thought over time it would tear, so instead I opted to simply glue it down to the inside of the front page:
I used the veined paper technique, which you can read about here, for both the library tag and the paper of the pocket.  When I was done I sprayed the deer using my Copic ABS and the deer stencil by Coffee Break Design.  I used the doe instead of the buck because the antlers fit her head better and I didn't have to worry about masking them off for spraying. I added in the German foil antlers from Retro Cafe.

Tomorrow I'll have the last page of my journal page to post.  I'm sad to be done, but then I'll get to start actually writing in it!  If you've missed any of the previous pages you can click the link on the side bar to see all of my pages.
